AJT has completed the design, fabrication, outfit, ship and installing cabs at these two air bases in Cairo. Our analysis modified the specifications to provide better suited cabs to include glazing, cable ducts, materials, mullions and finishes, as well as raised computer flooring. The ultimate client is the US Army Corps of Engineers and AJT was contracted with construction firm American International Contractors Inc.
The cab was fabricated and split into 2 pieces to allow transport on US highways and loaded onto a cargo vessel. Once on site, the cab was reassembled and finished on the ground in two weeks and then lifted onto the cab shaft.
